Apple Pie Overnight Oats

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 4 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 3 tablespoon raw honey 
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place all of the ingredients in a large glass mixing bowl and whisk until well combined.
  2. Cover bowl and refrigerate overnight
  3. To serve, add 1-2 tablespoon of the applesauce to the bottom of 4 jars or bowl, then divide the oat mixture equally among 4 jars or bowls

NOTES

  • Oats are high in soluble fibre.  Soluble fibre can assist in lowering blood cholesterol and glucose levels.
  • Chia Seeds contain large amounts of fibre, omega 3 fatty acids, plenty of high quality protein, and several essential minerals and antioxidants.  They may improve digestive health, risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.
