High Protein Smoothie Recipe

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 ripe banana 
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt 
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk 
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries 
  • 2x sachets of Back to Basics-Nutrition HIGH PROTEIN SUPA SHAKE
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter 
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • Ice cubes (optional for a thicker consistency)
  • A pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine the ripe banana, Greek yogurt, unsweetened almond milk, frozen mixed berries, HIGH PROTEIN SUPA SHAKE sachets, almond butter and a pinch of salt to a blender.
  2. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, you can add a handful of ice cubes at this stage.\
  3. Sprinkle in the ground cinnamon
  4. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a bit more almond milk to reach your desired consistency. (You can even add a touch of honey/maple syrup if desired.)
  5. Once everything is well blended, pour the smoothie into a glass or shaker bottle and enjoy!
