INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup raw oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Stir oats, water and salt together over low heat until boiling and thickened.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon over porridge.
  3. Serve with grated apple.

NOTES

Oats and apples are high in soluble fibre.  Soluble fibre can assist in lowering blood cholesterol and glucose levels.
